My sentiments exactly-women beware--been there done that!
WHEN INTERNET “LUV” COMES TO TOWN - VULNERABLE PEOPLE WHO NEED PEOPLE
MNN. Oct. 6, 2008. We’ve come to realize that this whole “love” scamming
business on the internet is being studied and schemed by agents of the elite
thugs. One category is the “player” and the “target”. “Players” are predators
of other human beings. They operate from their own unwritten "con manual" on
how to carefully "profile" their targets, move in and get what they want.
Intelligence agencies have scientifically studied this and converted it into
internet relationships which lead to a map of how to subvert individuals and
communities.
The players have determined that there are basic personality types and traits of
the targets, along with age, physical appearance, ethnicity, culture, income,
etc. From this a player develops models of their targets, how they can play
them and how they are likely to behave. A player learns how to spot these
people when he enters a room like a bar or an internet “chat room”. We are not
denying that genuine relationships have developed on the net.
Players with an agenda now do a lot of their hunting on the “net” where they
hide and reveal only what they want. Through high tech social networks in
emails and correspondence they can make up any scenario the target is looking
for. When they can’t get near the intended target, they go for someone close or
on the periphery.
Women in Western society are basically not liberated. They are mentally
oppressed and lack self-esteem. This conditions them to feed into the lucrative
cosmetic, fashion, self-help and image improvement industries. Women are
conditioned to be compliant in male-female relationships which makes them
vulnerable. This is just what the players want.
Some players are looking for money and maybe a specific type of relationship.
For example, women over 30 could be getting desperate to marry and are more
likely to have some money saved up. They are often generous, want to please and
crave attention. Socially excluded women are especially targeted when money is
the main goal. Their self-esteem is often low. They are vulnerable to flattery
and attention.
If the player is presentable and overstates their credentials [and can’t prove
them] and goes after a lonely, marginalized, unworldly, naïve woman, he may be
“playing” the target. They know how to play out the dream using the target’s
energy that they’ve carefully studied. After a short high powered internet
romance, they meet. Friends and family usually can see through the player and
try to warn the affected person, to no avail. The vulnerable party has been
charmed, put into an enchanted state and can’t see the duplicity or danger. We
hear stories about how creeps entice under-aged kids on the net. We need to
protect them.
The predator drives into town in a nice expensive vehicle, not a big old rusted
“pow wow” car with a supped-up sound system. The target sees nothing but
wonderful qualities built up in their besotted imagination. For the players
it's an energy field to be manipulated. They play into their victims' fantasies
and act out what the target is seeking.
Sometimes love is mutual and real in these ‘Harmony.com’ romances. For some
being “in love” is like a state of intoxication. Having sex can cause a
euphoric and non-analytical state of mind. It opens a person up to being
manipulated by a predator.
Intelligence agents have different priorities but use the same strategies. They
can work the target up to a point of defrauding them of their assets, gathering
information or controlling or compromising their lives for monetary, political
or military purposes.
Since the days of “Cointelpro” [U.S. Counter Intelligence Program], intelligence
agents have been trained to infiltrate groups, movements and communities. They
play roles developed by psychologists with considerable insight into human
behavior. They recruit agents in the target communities to work with them.
When an intelligence agent/player/predator is trying to infiltrate a movement,
they will set their sights on the leaders, the outspoken ones and the passionate
youth. If they cannot directly access their target, they go after their
associates, even the family. Agents have been known to go all the way with
their targets, even marrying and having children with them on long term
assignments.
Players and agents have personality profiles too. Primarily everybody says he
is a "nice guy" and too good to be true! The clean cut one with a pleasant
smile and a charming manner with the ladies is the better type. The surly
scruffy types do not make good players except in other circumstances. Some
women like their men wild and wooly! Their handlers realize that they have to
take their agents, put them in dirty blue jeans and drag them up and down the
road for a bit for some assignments.
Intelligence agencies hire people to do this kind of work regardless of criminal
record and background. They go after a personality type and then train them.
After a while the player goes into the "poor me" syndrome as though everyone
treated them badly, especially an ex-spouse. There are usually gaps in their
personal history, things they don’t want to talk about or periods of time they
can't or won’t explain. Some players can lead 2 or more lives in different
places. Here are some traits of the “player”:
1. They are charismatic, or at least charming;
2. They often have insider connections. They arrive informed as a result of
their training and studying the profile of the target or community.
3. They situate themselves deep into the community. They show no fear of the
law and its consequences because they are protected. They set up innocent
people in compromising positions and entrap them into situations they can’t back
out of.
4. They come into the community in many different ways like working in
Indigenous businesses. These mysteriously begin to fall apart. Then the player
is gone. In the end we are discredited.
5. They support any position in the community so long as they can get on the
inside to exploit, escalate or heighten the outsiders’ agenda. They subtly bait
the person or group into confusion and chaos. It can be either short or long
term. Then they disappear.
Intelligence agencies use these strategies to sidetrack us and any legitimate
social movements into dead ends, disinformation and wasted time. They gain the
confidence of their target. They try to exploit human weaknesses like greed,
dishonesty, and vanity, but also virtues like honesty, compassion or a naïve
expectation of good faith. Some drift into a community purporting to be
“Indian” or even former members of the American Indian Movement.
Our so-called vulnerability goes back to how we treat animals that are part of
our natural world since time immemorial. We Indigenous never domesticated them.
There was a natural cycle of dependency on each other. We did not kill the
young. This symbiotic relationship changed when the invaders came and started
killing us and penning us up. The animals became afraid of human beings which
they had never been before.
Victimization is possible because of the imbalance that has been created between
us and our environment which is supposed to be dependent on physical attraction
as part of our natural world. This is being displaced. Colonists have
developed controls over their domestic animals which they use as weapons to sic
on their victims.
To protect oneself is to know oneself. Players and agents have studied our
vulnerabilities and will move in on the weak flank. So keep it covered.
Stand as an equal in a relationship. Go to people in your life that you trust
and respect. It could be your brother, your mom or your close friends. If they
don't like your new found love that just came to town, they may see something
you don't see. After all, love is blind. If the new “luv” is for real, they
will respect your wishes. Watch out if they try to influence you against your
family and friends. When the player isolates the victim, that’s when they go in
for the kill. Here’s where you do what you did before luv came to town! Is it
possible to turn off the computer and find a face-to-face genuine relationship
today?

my beautiful son
my beautiful son
you are my everything
my highs my lows
my long nights in tow
you are my solace
innocent yet wise
how can i ever
know your beautiful eyes
and how it really feels
inside and out
sometimes you shout
and I will pout
along with you
I love you my son
until my days are done
no one compares
and if they dare
i'll shoot them down
they'll get out of town
i'll pull them aside
tell them to take it all in stride
i'll tell them what a beautiful soul you are
and through all this mess
you're still there
that's why I live
not for money for fame for power
but for my little child
sweet and innocent but oh so wise
I love you Shawn
Mom.

List of books Mayor Sarah Palin wanted banned from local library. From Time Magazine:
"[Former Wasilla mayor] Stein says that as mayor, Palin continued to inject religious beliefs into her policy at times. "She asked the library how she could go about banning books," he says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them. "The librarian was aghast." The librarian, Mary Ellen Baker, couldn't be reached for comment, but news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire her for not giving "full support" to the mayor."
Mary Ellen Baker resigned from her library director job in 1999.
Here is the list of books Palin tried to have banned. As many of you will notice it is a hit parade for book burners.

YOU GO GIRLS!
Good for these aboriginal WOMEN, I applaud them...I too have experienced police brutality at the border, and most recently this past weekend in Allen Park, Michigan, a redneck town that I never wish to return to. They target minorities and women...they're all made of the same mold, and it makes me so sick I could puke all over all of them---every single one of them!--and at the same time I pray they all come to their senses!

MOHAWK WOMEN FILE ‘DEMAND’. CANADA MUST RESPECT THE “RULE OF LAW”.
MNN. Aug. 4, 2008. The following “Letter of Demand” was sent to the Attorney
General of Canada. We are reminding them to fulfill their obligation to us as
our historic allies to protect our rights. Canada Border Services Agents has
illegally erected facilities in the midst of our community of Akwesasne and is
illegally interfering with our right to live peacefully among our people. In
particular, criminal assaults have been conducted against members of our
community, including the assault against Kahentinetha and Katenies on June 14th
2008 at the “Cornwall Ontario” check point. According to the Canadian
Constitution Canada is governed by the rule of law and everyone is equal before
the law. This means that Canadian officials must obey the law, just like
everyone else. When they commit an assault they should be charged with an
assault under the Criminal Code just like anyone else who commits an assault.
According to Federal Court of Canada rules, the Attorney General
must answer this letter by August 22, 2008.
LETTER OF DEMAND
Date: July 23, 2008
WITHOUT PREJUDICE
TO: Hon. Robert Douglas Nicholson
Minister of Justice & Attorney General of Canada
284 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H8
613-941-6900 nicholson.r@parl.gc.ca
TAKE NOTICE THAT ON JUNE 14, 2008, KAHENTINETHA AND KATENIES, MEMBERS OF THE
KANION’KE:HAKA/MOHAWK NATION, WERE ASSAULTED, BRUTALIZED, ARRESTED AND DETAINED
ILLEGALLY AT THE CORNWALL BORDER.
The following are the facts giving rise to this incident.
1.On June 14, 2008 Sakowaiaks and Kahentinetha went to Akwesasne to pick up
Katenies. Kahentinetha is a 68 year old grandmother. Katenies is 43 years old
and also a grandmother.
2.At approximately 2:00 pm they were passing through the Canadian border control
on the Cornwall portion. Akwesasne is a small community. The Canada-U.S.
border has been placed in the middle of the Mohawk community. The people have
to cross the border many times a day for groceries or to visit relatives.
3.Katenies, Kahentinetha and Sakowaiaks went through the border and were told to
wait under the canopy. They sat there peacefully for an hour surrounded by
guards. Some Mohawk elders showed up to witness. Several other vehicles were
searched and released. Only Indigenous people were stopped. Eventually a
platoon of about a dozen guards marched towards the car, all wearing leather
gloves, flack jackets and all kinds of equipment hanging about their waist. One
officer, Maurice Saucier [Badge #16121], was on the cell phone throughout
directing operations during the attack on Kahentinetha and Katenies.
4.At approximately 3:00 pm Katenies was dragged violently from the back seat of
the car by a gang of hefty young men and women. They knocked her down, pinned
her to the ground, and forced their knees into her head and back. They
handcuffed her and smashed and rubbed her face into the pavement. Sakowaiaks
still remembers the sound of flesh hitting the pavement. She received bleeding
scrapes and bruises on her face, shoulders, arms and legs. Katenies’ was taken
into the customs building and later to Ottawa. She was not given any medical
attention. She was not allowed to call her mother and her mother was not
permitted to see her or speak to her. Katenies was held incommunicado for three
days until she appeared in Cornwall court on June 17, 2008.
5.There were no warrants or charges out for Kahentinetha. Her ID and car keys
had already been taken. Katenies’ has not been returned. Also missing are
documents that were in the trunk and the shoes taken from Kahentinetha’s feet.
6.It was only after the assault on Katenies began that Kahentinetha was ordered
to get out of the car. She saw what they were planning to do to her.
Kahentinetha heard Maurice Saucier tell the other agents to “Take her out”. On
June 14th 2008 she was afraid for her life if she got out of the car. She was
right and continues to be afraid.
7.She was handcuffed, assaulted and imprisoned. Once in the cell, the attack
continued. Some of the officers deliberately tightened the handcuffs she was
wearing several times. This cut the circulation to her hands. The pain shot up
her arms and she experienced flashes of light and pains in the middle of her
chest and back. She cried for help. The guards ignored her and tightened the
handcuffs more. They yelled threats at her and kept ordering her to bend down.
A man stood behind her and had his hands on her pants. She received scrapes and
bruises on her arms and legs.
8.Frank Horn, a Cornwall lawyer, and his son Kanatase, happened to be waiting in
the line at the border. [613-935-8882]. They wouldn’t let him see his sister,
Kahentinetha, until they took off the cuffs and gave her a chair to sit on.
When he saw her, he immediately insisted on calling an ambulance. The
Akwesasne Police stood and watched in silence. The ambulance took her to
Cornwall Community Hospital and the Ottawa Ontario Heart Institute. She
remained in hospital for 5 days in the trauma unit and intensive care unit.
Since that time she had a relapse and was hospitalized at the Anna Laberge
Hospital in Chateauguay Quebec.
9.The medical record confirms that despite excellent physical condition
Kahentinetha had a trauma induced heart attack. Her recovery will take a long
time. Part of her heart was killed. Her health will never be the same. Both
women are now recuperating in the company of their children and grandchildren.
10.None of these women is associated with any kind of criminal activity.
11.The video footage of the assaults on Kahentinetha and Katenies on June 14th
2008 have been confiscated by Canada‘s Department of “National Defense”. We are
informed the only way to obtain these videos is to “waive our rights”. .
12.Some of the CBSA officers had the following badge numbers: 17012; 16320;
16511; 16121; and 16275; Some of those involved and responsible for border
issues are Alain Jolicoeur, President of CBSA 613-952-3200; Lance Markel,
District Director CBSA 613-930-3234; Hon. Stockwell Day, Public Safety &
Emergency Preparedness 613-995-1703 day.s@parl.gc.ca; Dave MacKenzie,
Parliamentary Secretary, Public Safety, 613-995-4432 mackenzie.d@parl.gc.ca;
Akwesasne Mohawk Police 613-575-2250 ext. 2400; and Louis Mitchell, Mohawk
Security 613-932-5183, 613-575-2340;
13.We have reason to believe that the Canadian “state” conspired to kill us.
These assaults appear to have been carried out by the Canada Border Security
Agency, Canada Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Mohawk Council of
Akwesasne, Akwesasne Mohawk Police Services and Mohawk Security Officers, all
agencies of the Canadian government. The courts of “Canada” are presently
issuing false charges and attempting to serve warrants on Kahentinetha and
Katenies.
Demand for Relief:
14. The individuals who assaulted the three women must be charged, tried and
punished.
15.Full and complete undoctored copies of the video footage of this event.
16.Full disclosure of all files and official communications concerning the cases
of Kahentinetha and Katenies.
17.$10 million for physical, psychological and punitive damages and such other
relief as this court may deem fit.
Deadline for settlement:
18.An order that all Canadian government agencies will respect the time delays
set out in the rules of court.

The courts of “Canada” are presently

more about vermin and reptilians......
from lorna...thank you...
There was a time when I feared the same thing, but no longer. What's really happening isn't being shown on the TV nightly news, nor are many regular people aware. There is some of it on You Tube, but it doesn't give a complete picture either. The established power is going out. They are going kicking and screaming, but they will be gone. Our only concern is whether they go quietly in the night like the vermin they are, or whether they will launch an army against us. Some may think they will send in an army, but if you know Americans, most American troops have had enough and are just waiting for the word from We the People. The army is already loosing thousands of men every year the vermin continue the war. Obviously this isn't something they want commonly known. If they are able to find an army big enough to make an attempt, it will be overwhelmed very easily by people who have been prepared for a long time.
The other side of this is that a major number of people are becoming spiritually aware and are praying for peace. These people may not be aware of the protection they have from prepared Americans, but they do know in their hearts that now is the time to passively resist. This is the time to keep on passively resisting by any means you can. Email has been a great way for us to not only passively resist, but also stay in touch with those others who are also passively resisting.
One other thing that keeps me optimistic is how Americans react to hard times. Yes, a small amount of vandalism and rioting happen, but most of the time We the People handle major disasters by helping each other. I use the black out on the east coast as an example. Yes, there were a few small pockets of disturbance, but nothing like what we've been programed to expect by Hollywood (which is controlled by the vermin). We are in general, much kinder to each other than the vermin or Hollywood would like us to believe.
If you'd like I can add you to my email list of people I keep informed.

Autism Group Demands Apology From CBS
AP
Posted: 2008-02-18 11:42:35
NEW YORK (AP) - A national autism advocacy group is demanding an apology from CBS over a disparaging remark a contestant on the reality show "Big Brother" made about people with the disorder.
John Gilmore, executive director of Autism United, said Monday that his group has been trying to speak with CBS executives since last week's broadcast.
On that episode, a contestant named Adam, who claims to work for an autism foundation, said he would spend his winnings on a hair salon for people with developmental disabilities "so retards can get it together and get their hair done."
His partner, Sheila, told him: "Don't call them that."
Adam responded: "Disabled kids. I can call them whatever I want. I work with them all day, OK?"
The show's Web site describes him as a 29-year-old public relations manager from Delray Beach, Fla.
There was no immediate response Monday to a call seeking comment from CBS.
"Big Brother" also has been condemned for contestants' remarks on incest, race, ethnicity and sexual orientation. Some contestants have been removed following incidents that were deemed violent or racist.
The premise of the show is that contestants - or "houseguests" - are isolated from the outside world while under constant surveillance. Once a week, they vote to evict a member of the group.
When just two people remain, a jury of voted-off contestants picks the "Big Brother" winner of the $500,000 grand prize.
Autism is a complex disorder featuring poor social interaction and communication skills.

he suffers in silence---when will someone listen?
this is true story of what children with asperger's syndrome experience and how they feel.....sad but true, and our schools don't give a damn. We need to fight for our children before it's too late.....we need to be their voice...the schools and the general public needs to be educated about these children who are extremely gifted, talented, emotional, sensitive...they are our future...whether we like it or not. Why not call them Indigo???? Instead of autistic???? Just do a search on Indigo kids. Lets educate our educators about these kids, how about PD???? on the subject? It is NEEDED DESPARATELY!!!!! Before too many kids suffer and the damage is irreparable!!!
My son was diagnosed with asperger's syndrome at age 3. He is now almost 10 in 4th grade and an all A/B student with above average intelligence. He is the most loving, kind, forgiving soul I have ever met. I am proud to say he is my son and I love him with all my heart. Yet he continues to suffer, the school perpetuates it, they do not understand him or his asperger's. they do not attempt to understand it. all we get is lip service. it will take a miracle, prayer and tough action to correct their indifference. Let's wait and see.....hmmmmmm.....all and any comments will be appreciated!

Shawn's Story:
Today in gym we were doing jump rope. The turners (C my desk mate and R the new kid) started going too fast. Then I started to get angry because I couldn’t jump the rope. I asked them to slow down and for some reason they were just used to turning fast and couldn’t help it.
So, I started to get angry and I was showing it by my facial expressions and Ms. E came over and said “Shawn go to time out and calm down”. She said this in front of everyone. It made me upset, so I started to cry in front of everyone. That is when she sent me to “time out”, which was against the wall.
I felt like I was being punished and I also felt humiliated in front of my classmates.
Anyways, she started calling groups based on incident, like for example “turners going too fast and kids not being able to jump the rope”.
When she called that group, all the people that like to bully me (H, M, J, S and B) turned and looked at me and M also stuck out his tongue at me. The others made faces at me like they were making fun of me. It made me feel very upset.
Then I said in a very loud voice (almost yelling): “STOP IT! I have been publically humiliated for the LAST TIME!!!”
Then Ms. E started calling boys to line up and then the girls.
J tried to cheer me up. Ms. E said to J “no thank you” like she didn’t want J doing that (cheering me up).
Then I saw Ms. E talking to Mrs. C the student teacher.
When I got back to class, Mrs. C talked to me for a minute. She talked to me about what happened in gym. She told me the list of names who looked at me and made faces. From what I can remember, the names on the list were M, H, S, J and B. She told me she was going to talk to the class about it.
When we went into class she talked about it. She did not name me, but they could tell she was talking about the incident in gym. She said “how would feel if you were in time out and everybody looked at you?” And she called everyone who looked at me and a few extra hands went up. And then she said certain parents will be called. And then we took the short science test. And that was the end of it.
This happened at 2:45 (gym) until 3:15. I didn’t talk to Mrs. G about this; there was no time. I talked to my mom about this as soon as I got home off the bus. It was the first thing we talked about.
Also at lunch today, (before the gym incident), I overheard H saying to her friend that one of her favorite pastimes was to find new ways to bully and torture me. It made me feel so upset I wanted to tell the teacher. But I didn’t.
and there's more...
This happened on the way home on the bus today:
Miss A has a Webkinz account online. I asked my friend S from third grade when we were on the bus coming home, “what’s that the little basket with stuff in it?” And she said it’s for Miss A and Webkinz panda bear; it’s like a little bed. Anyway, when I heard Miss A has a Webkinz account I said “you got to be joking”. I wasn’t saying it to be mean, I was just surprised. S said well then I should ask Miss A. Miss A is always truthful. Miss A comes up and I asked her if she really has a Webkinz account and she said “yes”. My jaw almost dropped to the floor. Then I said I wonder what your screen name is if we wanted to become friends on Webkinz World. She said “ my user name is Marksgirlfriend” and said “would you like me to write it down?” She wrote it down for both S and me on a pink piece of paper. And gave it to me. And she said “Ask your parents if it ok to become friends” “I don’t want to get into trouble”.
*********************************************************************************
Can you imagine a nine year old having to endure this almost on a daily basis? I can't. And why is a bus aide giving a 9 year old special education student her Internet screen name to chat with him on a children's website called WEBKINZ? That sends a BIG RED FLAG up to me. Why is in the hell is grown woman chatting on a children's website with a screen name like "marksgirlfriend" in the first place???? Makes me wonder....

They advocate for Special Education students like my son.
there will be more....stay tuned. Please check back often, as I will be posting here about the situation on a regular basis after this. I am livid right now. Luckily, my son has many people in his life that DO CARE ABOUT HIM.

From Lorna....thank you......re: Reptilians in the Making?
Thank you,
Yes, I've been politically active for a long time and I do know. My mom and dad started to learn about all of this just before Bill Clinton was elected. They are all crooks, except one. The only thing keeping him in it is the grass roots effort that has sprouted around his campaign. If he doesn't win, I know quite a few people who will be using that tool the politicians can take out of their cold dead hands, for as long as the hands still live. The next few years could be interesting. I keep praying that we work our way through this touchy time as peacefully as possible while working towards personal freedom. Prayer does work. I'd like to start a prayer chain that deals with political issues.
I would like to respectfully disagree with only one issue. Al Gore is just as bad, if not worse than the rest. Please consider this:
http://www.oism.org/oism/s32p686.htm
If after you have seen the lecture and take the time to look at the scientific data, you still agree with Al Gore, blessings. I do hope you give it an honest evaluation. We have problems, but I think Mother Earth is warming in an effort to cleans herself of our evils. She's cleansed herself before, she'll do it again.
I send this with love.

Yellow Quill bids farewell to tots who froze to death
TIM COOK
The Canadian Press
February 2, 2008 at 6:48 PM EST
YELLOW QUILL RESERVE, Sask. — The heartbroken grandmother of two children who met their tragic ends in an icy field on a Saskatchewan reserve has issued an emotional plea to the Canadian public, asking that their deaths not be in vain.
Three-year-old Kaydance Pauchay and her one-year-old sister Santana were laid to rest Saturday after a private service on the Yellow Quill reserve about three hours east of Saskatoon.
Afterward, the girls' maternal grandmother, Irene Nippi, made her way to the edge of the reserve, where the media were being kept back, and asked reporters to tell the story of Yellow Quill and the struggles its people face.
“I was worried about my grandchildren. I did not want them to leave this world in vain,” Ms. Nippi said, her slight frame trembling against the cold. “I hope there's change now that happens — a lot of changes like no alcohol and counselling and stuff to be brought in here. Our old teachings should be brought back.”

The Yellow Quill reserve, situated in a part of the province where flat grain fields give way to rolling hills and forests, is battling alcohol abuse, high unemployment and a lack of suitable housing.
The First Nation also has political and financial difficulties. It has been under third-party management since 1999, and the chief is currently locked in a bitter battle with councillors that both sides agree is crippling the reserve's development.
Ms. Nippi said she hopes Saturday's service helps her own family move forward. The children's father, Christopher Pauchay, was brought to the reserve by ambulance so he and their mother, Tracey Jimmy, could say goodbye to their children together. Ms. Jimmy is expecting another baby in April.
“I'm glad it is finally over. Now the healing can begin with my daughter and my son-in-law,” Ms. Nippi said. “When we went to lay my grandchildren to rest, I was very proud of her and my son-in-law Chris, because they were so strong.”
Details about the deaths remain incomplete, but family members have said they believe Mr. Pauchay might have been seeking medical help for the one of the girls and intended to walk a short distance to another home when he took them out wearing light clothing around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday. They say he had been drinking that night.
At some point, Mr. Pauchay got separated from the children. He made it to a neighbour's house and was taken to hospital suffering from severe frostbite and hypothermia. Eight hours later, when he was finally able to communicate, he asked about his children, triggering a grim search.
Saturday's memorial service was private, and RCMP officers were stationed at the reserve entrance to enforce a media ban imposed by Chief Robert Whitehead at the request of family and the band's elders.
One of the guests, Saskatchewan's minister of First Nations and Métis relations, said she sensed a mood for change on the reserve.
“They're very, very extremely sad people. It's just an unbelievable sad feeling of tragedy and mourning there and also a resolve to see what they can do different in their lives,” said June Draude.
Speaking to reporters as he left the memorial reception in his car, Mr. Pauchay's brother Gary said both parents have been devastated by the tragedy.
“The parents are really sad,” he said, adding his brother hasn't told him much about what happened that night. “He just stares at me.”
He couldn't speculate on Christopher's recovery, other than to say, “He'll walk.”
When reporters asked how he himself was coping, Mr. Pauchay said simply, “having a beer.” There was an open beer bottle beside him in the car console.
Ms. Nippi had words for the band leadership, saying she and her family have felt like they weren't supported during this tragedy.
But she was comforted by all the people who came to the funeral from far and wide to offer their condolences.
“That made me feel so good,” she said, fighting back tears. “I just knew we weren't alone
Reptilians in the Making?
After watching and listening to "Super Tuesday", I mean, I want to get excited about O....but I fear for his life. They all look alike--check it out, closely. Look and see. Check the mouths and facial features. Attorneys and politicians all look the same way. All the rich republicans look this way. Rich people. They all have the same gene. See what happened to JFK...he gave the people "hope"...and it cost him his life. I want to see an aboriginal/indigenous person in the White House, but when we comes right down to it, who is in control? Would O be? Is O their puppet? yes, I say. I say yes. Without a doubt. I can clearly see the cards on the table now, but how many of you can? No...he would have to be careful or else it would cost him his life. The people are so gullable/ignorant/uneducated/misinformed and uninformed, they have no idea what is going on in this world, they get so excited about the p. race when it is all a big bunch of b.s., lies, full of control, on and on, etc... Or would he be a puppet as GWB Jr. is? I only hope that he does not agree to run with H, as he would be "dead" in the water, as Gore was. Gore is awesome. He cares about our mother, and he got fed up with politics...and vowed never to run again.after he got screwed by GWB Jr and his cronies...He won an Academy Award...it took that to bring his truth to the forefront...and to the people of this planet...out mother is slowly dying...no one cares...except for "us"...reptilians are here to stay and we must quash their agenda and show them the "way" gently. I feel for all those who suffer under their wrath, and am grateful that I can "see" the real wisdom. Perhaps this is all in the script, pre-planned and pre-ordained.Let's see how it all plays out. I pray for all. I am not sorry, I feel VERY STRONGLY ABOU THIS. And always remember our children and our elders (first)...A_Ho......

when will he learn? and my ideal man--i want to be his "secretary"
"Me and My Ideal Match"
I am a reserved, non-judgemental man, with a big heart for the right person. I hope to find someone that is open, honest and caring that can carry on an intelligent conversation. I enjoy spending time with my children, I am very involved in their activities. In my free time, I like to work around my house and yard, play golf, run, or maybe spend some time relaxing in front of the fireplace with a good book and a glass of wine. I am very easy going.
I hope to find a woman that can be my best friend first. After all, when the honeymoon is over, you still need to be able to communicate and enjoy each other's company. I am looking for openness and honesty. I realize that we have all had our own history and we all have faults, it is how we chose to deal with these aspects of our lives that give us character. I believe you should not judge others until you have walked that mile in their shoes. We are who we are...are we compatible?

Chromosome abnormality linked to autism, study finds
Chromosome abnormality linked to autism, study finds
Last Updated: Wednesday, January 9, 2008 | 5:11 PM ET
CBC News
Researchers have identified a chromosomal abnormality that seems to increase a person's chances of developing autism.
A group of U.S. researchers, associated with a group of Boston-based hospitals known as the Autism Consortium, conducted complete genome scans of 1,400 samples of DNA from families of autistic children.
They found that in one per cent of people with autism, or similar disorders, a portion of chromosome 16 is either absent or duplicated. This is not inherited from the parents.
To ensure this finding held true in other autism patients, researchers then examined the data of 1,000 patients from Children's Hospital Boston — about fifty per cent of whom had been formally diagnosed as being autistic or having a developmental problem.
Among those children with developmental issues, five had the same deleted section of chromosome 16, and another four had a duplicated chromosome.
The researchers caution that it is still early days in genetic research into autism.
"We're still a long way from understanding how this chromosomal deletion or duplication increases the risk for autism, but this is a critical first step toward that knowledge," said Mark Daly, the study's senior author for gene discovery, in a release.
The study is published online Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine.
To date, only 10 per cent of all autism cases have been traced to genetic and chromosomal abnormalities, say the authors.
"These large, non-inherited chromosomal deletions are extremely rare," said Daly, "so finding precisely the same deletion in such a significant proportion of patients suggests that it is a very strong risk factor for autism.
"We're now pursuing more detailed genetic studies to figure out which genes in this region are responsible for this effect in order to gain a better understanding of the underlying biology and potential clues to therapeutic approaches."

Mi'kmaq elder's grandson charged in her death
Mi'kmaq elder's grandson charged in her death
Last Updated: Monday, December 31, 2007 | 2:16 PM AT
CBC News
Police in Truro, N.S., confirmed Monday they have charged the grandson of native rights activist Nora Bernard with first-degree murder in connection with her death last week.
James Douglas Gloade, 24, of Millbrook, N.S., was arraigned in court Monday.
Nora Bernard fought for compensation for residential school survivors.
(CBC)
At a news conference, police said a motive for the crime has yet to be determined, but investigators have confirmed that no money was taken from the home.
Police said Bernard's grandson visited the home often.
Bernard, 72, was found lying on the floor of her home on the Millbrook First Nation early Thursday.
Police described trauma to her face and stab wounds to the upper part of her body around the neck area.
The murder weapon is believed to have been a knife but it hasn't been found, police said.
Bernard was a Mi'kmaq elder well-known for her 11-year battle to persuade governments to compensate aboriginal people who suffered abuse at Canada's network of residential schools.
From 1945 to 1950, she had attended the former Shubenacadie residential school in Nova Scotia, where she said she was forced to work cleaning and making clothes.
Her $14,000 compensation cheque arrived a few weeks ago. Most of it went to pay bills, her children told CBC News.
In the early 1990s, Bernard began organizing survivors of the school in Shubenacadie, N.S., and launched a legal action that was later merged with a similar suit in Ontario.
The class-action suit led to a compensation agreement with the federal government that could be worth up to $5 billion.

spirit bear ~ bear medicine
The Legend of the SPIRIT BEAR
Native Americans have always held a reverence for bears. Bears hold a spiritual significance. Human-like in their ability to walk upright, bears are considered a link between people and animals. Bears are strongly linked to healing. They forage for plants which implies a knowledge of herbal medicine. Numerous common names for herbs and plants reflect this: bearberry, bear's paw, bear tongue, bear clover. Finally, because they hibernate, bears experience the ultimate magical transformation; they "die" and are "reborn" each year. The SPIRIT BEAR fetish holds special power because the fetish is thought to contain a living power (the bear) which can help its owner. The SPIRIT BEAR fetish has healing power –the power of the bear.

Support Donna Shilling and Rick's return to Curve Lake First Nation
Type: Common Interest - Politics
Description: Donna Shilling is a First Nations woman. Her mother was from Rama First Nation, and her father, Grant Taylor from Curve Lake. He fought in the War... for Freedom..... and to Protect peoples rights.
Donna met Rick, a non-native man, they fell in love and lived for a long time at Curve Lake First Nation in a common-law relationship.
After six years, Rick built a business on the reserve- owned a store and gas station on the reserve and hired many people who were members of Curve Lake.
He gave to his community. Donna gave to her community. They have many relatives living on the reserve.
Rick made a mistake. Charged and convicted of possession/purpose of Marijuana and a
device from a Traveling Salesman they have deemed a weapon...a Baton.
Then 5 days later they received a notice from Chief and Council to get out in 12 hours.
They had time only to pack a few things and leave with a Suitcase.
This was a conviction of a crime of non violence nature.
Curve Lake Chief and Council do not evict members of their community who are convicted of crimes of violence such as assault, murder, rape, or drunk driving.
Rick and Donna were evicted because Rick is a non native man.
Where in our Traditional Teachings are we taught to treat non-native people any differently than we do our own people?
Our ultimate Chief and Council is Creator and our Ancestors. Would they have come to the same conclusion or would they have attended court in support, testifying on Rick's behalf and then asking Rick and Donna how they could help? I suspect they would. At least MY Creator and Ancestors would.
Please join this Facebook group to show Rick and Donna that they have our support.

loving trees
Here is an old and wonderful Teaching on The Tree Peoples....
Trees strongly root with the Earth, and the more rooted the tree, the higher
it can extend to Heaven. Trees stand very still, absorbing the Earth's
Energy and the Universal Force from the Heavens. Trees and all plants have
the ability to absorb the light frequencies and transform them into food; in
fact, they depend on light for most of their nourishment. Trees are the
largest and most spiritually advanced plants on earth. They are constantly
in meditation, and subtle energy is their natural language.
As your understanding of this language grows, you can begin to develop a
relationship with them. They can help you open your energy channels and
cultivate calm, presence, and vitality. There are certain methods to
approaching, interacting with, retreating from, and absorbing energy of a
tree. By following specific steps you create a ritual of silent communion
that both you and the tree can understand, and so increase the potential for
harmonious interaction.

'Mini-Tsunami' Wipes Out Mexican Town

OSTUACAN, Mexico (Nov. 6) - Survivors saw relatives swept away by huge waves or buried by debris after a landslide hit a rain-swollen river, triggering what officials called a "mini-tsunami" that wiped a hamlet off the map and left at least 16 people missing.
Residents of San Juan Grijalva told The Associated Press on Monday they had been awakened by a rumbling roar and the sound of rocks rolling down from surrounding mountaintops on Sunday night, almost a week after massive flooding sent rivers over their banks in the southern Mexican states of Chiapas and neighboring Tabasco.

"It was a roar, like a helicopter was passing overhead," recounted farmer Domingo Sanchez, 21. "We didn't know what was happening, and then we went outside, and there were cracks opening the earth," he said, apparently recounting the initial collapse of a nearby hillside into the river. "We ran up the hill ... but soil kept coming down on us."
For the next several hours, Sanchez, his mother, his wife and a cousin fought for their lives in a valley where the only salvation lay in getting to higher ground.
Sanchez reached a hilltop just in time to look across the valley and see a landslide cover the home of his grandparents. He believes at least nine of his relatives were buried.
San Juan Grijalva, 45 miles southwest of Villahermosa, is near the border of heavily flooded Tabasco state and linked to the same river systems. The landslide was the latest damage caused by a week of flooding and heavy rains that has left 80 percent of Tabasco under water, destroying or damaging the homes of about half a million people. At least 20,000 people remain trapped on rooftops across the state.
David Sanchez, 22, a cousin of Domingo, described the events he saw from his house in a different part of the village that once was home to about 600 people.
David Sanchez described two distinct waves — the first of which swept his mother about 200 yards downstream before he could rescue her. "It was an irresistible wave," he said, describing the water pushed down from the initial impact of the landslide.
After climbing up a hillside to safety, in a moment of calm he and three friends briefly descended to rescue some possessions when the second wave — apparently the release of water briefly dammed up by the landslide — swept down the valley.
"It swept away everything, trees, houses, everything," David Sanchez said.
Chiapas state Gov. Juan Sabines, who visited the scene, described one of the waves as a "mini-tsunami" and noted "this village practically disappeared."
"A mountain fell into the river, blocking the River Grijalva ... and created a wave ... that has flattened the town," Sabines told Mexican radio.
Helicopters searched the surrounding hills to rescue residents who fled to higher ground.
Chiapas officials and the federal Interior Department said 16 were missing. No bodies were immediately found.
On Monday, in the Tabasco state capital of Villahermosa, officials readied huge pumps to suck water from the inundated streets while rescuers struggled to reach thousands still stranded days after one of the worst floods in Mexico's history.
President Bush shared his sympathy over the floods and suffering Monday with Mexican President Felipe Calderon.
U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Tony Garza said the U.S. had pledged $300,000 in emergency assistance to Tabasco and Chiapas.
"Americans know only too well the horrible impact of such natural disasters on the lives of individuals and communities, and we are anxious to join the international community in providing assistance to our neighbors," Garza said.
After Hurricane Katrina struck the U.S. in 2005, Mexico sent a convoy of about 200 unarmed soldiers and medical personnel across the border with portable kitchens and water treatment equipment to aid recovery efforts.
Officials also saw some signs of hope as the Grijalva and Carrizal rivers, which had risen as much as six feet above normal levels, began to subside slightly Monday, as did storm tides in the Gulf of Mexico.
But tens of thousands of hungry and sick storm victims still awaited food and aid.
